The Riverside Caravan Park requires a multi-night booking over the 2/3 November Melbourne Cup weekend.
Therefore the 2/3 November 2024 accommodation suggestions are the Deniliquin Motel https://denimotel.com.au/contact-us or the Deniliquin Country Club Motor Inn https://www.countryclubdeni.com.au/. These two motels are adjacent to each other.
Saturday starting time options: 7.00 a.m. Saturday or 3.00 — 3.30 pm.
Back at 1.00 — 1.30 pm.
Collected again: 3.00 — 3.30 pm
Back at your accommodation: 11.30 pm — 2 am.
The starting time on Sunday morning will depend on how late we are out on Saturday night.
Finishing time: 1.00 — 1.30 pm. Sunday.

Cost of the Plains-wanderer Weekend is $440 AUD per person if starting at 7 a.m. or $400 AUD if starting at 3.00 — 3.30 pm.
Deposit when booking is $70 AUD. Balance two months prior to the Plains-wanderer Weekend.
What you will need to bring: torch or headlamp for the plains-wanderer search, food, binoculars, telescope if you have one, insect repellent, sunscreen, hat and water bottle. Cake and drinks are supplied on the Saturday evening. There will be eskies in the 4WDs on the Saturday afternoon.
Group size: Up to eight participants divided between two 4WDs.
