Saturday starting time options: 7.00 a.m. Saturday or 3.00 — 3.30 pm.
Back at 1.00 — 1.30 pm. Collected again: 3.00 — 3.30 pm
Back at your accommodation: 11.30 pm — 2 am.
The starting time on Sunday morning will depend on how late we are out on Saturday night.
Finishing time: 1.00 — 1.30 pm. Sunday.
The Plains-wanderer search is after nightfall on Saturdfay night.
Suggested accommodation: A cabin at the Riverside Caravan Park is a good place to stay, particularly if you prefer to self-cater. http://www.deniliquinriversidecaravanpark.com.au/ However, you are welcome to stay anywhere you wish within the Deniliquin township boundary.
Cost of the 2026 Plains-wanderer Weekends is $585 AUD per person if starting at 7 a.m. or $535 AUD if starting at 3.00 — 3.30 p.m.
Deposit when booking is $70 AUD. Balance two months prior to the Plains-wanderer Weekend.
What you will need to bring: Torch or headlamp for the plains-wanderer search, food, binoculars, insect repellent, sunscreen, hat and water bottle.
Cake and drinks are supplied on the Saturday evening. There will be eskies in the 4WDs on the Saturday afternoon.
