Meeting places in Deniliquin: The Riverside Caravan & Cabin Park, Davidson Street, Deniliquin, NSW. Saturday starting time options: 6.30 a.m. Saturday or 3.00 — 3.30 p.m.
The starting time on Sunday morning will depend on how late we are out on Saturday night.
Finishing time: 1.00 — 1.30 p.m. Sunday. Suggested accommodation: A cabin at the Riverside Caravan Park is a good place to stay, particularly if you prefer to self-cater. http://www.deniliquinriversidecaravanpark.com.au/ Cost of the Plains-wanderer Weekend is $340 AUD per person if starting at 6.30 a.m. or $310 AUD if starting at 3.00 p.m. What you will need to bring: food, binoculars, telescope if you have one, insect repellent, sunscreen, hat and water bottle. Also an old pair of sandshoes for wading but only if there is something to wade in — check with Patricia. Group size: Up to eight participants divided between two 4WDs.
